MODERN PENTATHLON

Athletes must be 12 years old as of  the date of the Games, and not older than 17 inclusive, as of August 1, 2002. This is at the development level, and a maximum of 21 female and 21 male athletes from BC can enter. Eight parents/chaperones will also be provided.

SWIM: 200 meters freestyle, using an air pistol at a distance of 10 meters, 5 shots per target. 4 targets total. Shooting is with one hand.

RUN: 2000 meters on a chip trail.
